Goat Ridge - A place? Or some friends who hang out and play music? Both you can say. The site bordering Lake Amungen can be described as desolate and scenic with old farms and summer cottages. In summer, the lake glitters in the sun, in autumn; it is steel gray. In winter it is frozen and hidden. Goat Ridge has taken the name from this place and the sound has sprung from week-long isolation here, on Getryggen. An earthy and dreamy, eclectic yet unique, blend of country, folk, pop and americana.
