Adam Björklund from Lycksele, northern Sweden, is a lofi/jazz hiphop producer educated at prominent music schools in Sweden and Los Angeles.
During his first years in Stockholm, he started teaching guitar alongside working as a performing musician, making beats for his students to use as backing tracks for improvisation. Through one of his students, the music caught the attention of RIKA Music Group, which led to them signing Adam as Going North.
Going North creates pop music with lo-fi hip hop beats sprinkled with Nordic melodies that touch your soul. The sounds create a varied chill vibe with influences from jazz, 60´s soul, and modern electronic music.
