Goo-Q is the original electronic music project of UK artist, Pete Davies, ( <a href="spotify:playlist:1uBoNsVkBZHgRjPc8Vsl3w" data-name="This is Pete Davies">This is Pete Davies</a> ) created in 1980 to release the pioneering synth-pop single "I'm a Computer." Recorded with Moog synthesist John Lewis at Electrophon Studios in London, the song explored the relationship between humans and computers decades before AI became part of everyday life.
John Lewis also performed the synthesizers on Robin Scott's international hit "Pop Muzik," and Pete had previously worked with Robin Scott during his early years in London's music scene.

Today, Goo-Q returns with a remastered release of "I'm a Computer," introducing this forward-looking electronic recording to a new generation of listeners. Pete Davies continues to write and release new music under his own name, while Goo-Q remains home to his pioneering electronic work. Look out for Pete's new venture into J-pop, coming soon!
