Goose Gap

Goose Gap emerged from the South African rock scene in early 2000. 3 young friend s Etienne Steyn, Christopher Starke and Ezra Isaacs Music arrangements and songwriting duties fell on Lead singer and guitarist Etienne Steyn shoulders. The group quickly gained followers and atracted the attention of record labels across South Africa. Their self titled self released demo made it all the way to top 40 hit parades on varies radio stations but their dream of releasing a full length studio album through a legitimate record label never materialized. The group split up in early 2003. Despite leaving a big following the group members persuaded variouse solo careers in music and Etienne Steyn went on to become a respected songwriter, producer and solo artist. Fast forward to 2022 two of the original members of Goose Gap Etienne Steyn and Ezra Isaacs decided to reform the band and rerelease the original recordings of their songs 20 years ago.
Goose Gap are set to rerelease previously unheard material and are looking forward to taking the live music scene by storm yet again. Older and wiser they believe playing their music to a audience is the best way to get their message across. And look forward to producing new material and releasing it to the world through the wonder of modern technology.
