The sound of GOTU was born as a spontaneous jam on two acoustics in the carpark of Wollongong’s Rad Bar, and has been constantly changing form since. From a mellow acoustic duo, to a combination of steel string, nylon guitar, violin and djembe, now to a 4 piece band of vocals, electric guitars, bass and drums.
Taking on inspirations from wide ranges of music from psychedelic rock and blues, to classical, folk and the sounds of West Africa, their music can stem from any combination of these styles, creating a unique flowful worldly sound.
Their self titled EP is out now on all music platforms for you to feed your earholes on, with new music on the way!
