Born in the San Antonio, Texas, Grant Isaias spent his youth with his family listening to and singing to church music. He picked up his first instrument (the guitar) in the second grade and later got into classical art which led to him auditioning and making his city wide orchestra. Throughout middle and high school, Isaias quietly made music for SoundCloud and gained a following making urban pop music and remixing electro pop records by producers like Sxber Rob and Lux Impala.
As a teen, a few covers on youtube gained him a lot of attention but he quickly found himself yearning for the creativity of writing songs for himself. He was found by billboard charting EDM producers like Keys and Krates and began sending raw vocals to them for some time. After graduating in 2020 moved on to freelance songwriting where he got to write for several internet popular artists. In spring 2020 teaming up with Diamond Producer Trent 700 led to a fan and personal favorite song; Grant Isaias’s Synth-pop track “Cupid”. The song has gone on to be his most notable song so far.
The hyperpop and synth pop communities have claimed Isaias because of his dynamic vocals and commitment to attention grabbing synths as well as through his collaborations with artist like hyperpop playlist staple; "funeral". Isaias is inspired by synthpop genre-benders like Troye Sivan , Sega Bodega, and Magdalena Bay. Now he is working on his debut project with producer Trent 700. Set to come out in fall 2022.
