Gravity Noir is a British synth-pop band formed in the early 1990s. The only permanent member since the band's inception is singer, songwriter and producer Patrick Knight. In the 1990s, he performed as a live Boy George tribute act. In 1991 he got involved in a side project called Greater Than One (GTO short) and released a 12-inch single called "Listen to the Rhythm Flow" which became a worldwide success. It was then that the name Gravity Noir was first used. The early repertoire consisted mainly of covers of well-known songs from the 80s. On April 23, 2011, the first official single called 'I've Got the Power' was released, under the name "The Sisters of Divine Pleasure", with Patrick Knight as Drag queen "Titless Strange". In 2016 Patrick Knight decided to use the original band name Gravity Noir for all future productions. Hence Gravity Noir's big comeback in 2016. The power of Gravity Noir is to offer its independent band members the opportunity to showcase their talent and creativity individually. With several new studio albums, EPs, singles, music videos and two full-length multiple award-winning feature films called 'ANKH' and 'Jack in the Green'. Gravity Noir certainly earns a place in the great worldwide pool of independent artists.
