The brainchild of multi-instrumentalist producers Nathan Kamps-Hughes and Jonathan Lane, Greatr Fool emerged on a cold dawn in a dropped out cabin somewhere in the Santa Cruz mountains.

Following the death of Nathan’s mother, the duo loaded an old sedan with instruments and headed to the hills. Echoes of that lost weekend in the redwoods reverberate across the band’s music today.

From out of body experiences to alarm clocks, day dreams to bardo realms, Greatr Fool pulls inspiration from all sources, creating textured walls of sound both organic and lush.

Their debut album Time Out, written and recorded in their Oakland home studio, arrives in 2026.
