An ancient Greek in his heart of hearts, Jeff Ilgenfritz first fell in love with Edith Hamilton's "Mythology" in the eighth grade.

Originally written in 2009, the first two Volumes were recorded using a Tascam four-track. A photo session was commissioned and photographed by Chris Garcia using friends in the titular roles. These 3,400+ photos were used to bring the myths to life in lyric videos.

Orlando label Post*Records released the albums in 2016 as digital streaming albums.

Ilgenfritz felt compelled to tell the stories of the gods and goddesses as a means to honor the Greek pagans who didn't kowtow to homogeneous world religions.
