Founded as a solo project by front-man Lucas Mougeot in 2016, Jacksonville-based band <a href="spotify:artist:3DUlOZbzXUXXsRp2DWByU0" data-name="The Citrus Trees">The Citrus Trees</a> seek continuous evolution in sound. Embracing the hope of tomorrow following the despair of yesterday, this dynamic group of friends places emphasis on truth & authenticity in the songs that they write. While the quality has grown over the years, the desire for down-to-earth themes remains steady, including love & hate, suicide & recovery, myth & reality, hope & despair.

Having released <a href="spotify:track:2AaMpCtqc3YGNF7YBXpe5M" data-name="Seasons Change">Seasons Change</a> in late 2022, the Trees are looking towards a psychedelic sound in their future albums. As recalled by Lucas, his favorite compliment came at a show when <a href="spotify:artist:4NEAPNeI8tFdqiK1aIARHS" data-name="blind purpose">blind purpose</a> called them “Indie Pink Floyd” !
