Raised on a diet of Brown Ale and bad football, Newcastle based indie band GreenCircles are Paul McGill and Graham Bull.
They share a love of psychedelic tinged British guitar bands including the Stone Roses, The Smiths, The Jam, The Beatles and The La's. After featuring on BBC Introducing they have released a string of singles and eps from the Merseybeat skiffle of "Blackbird" and "No Way Out" to the anthemic strings of "Start Again" and "Hard To Beat"Hard To Beat".

After a 12 month hiatus, GreenCircles returned in November 2024 with the Style Council influenced "Over Here" and the Madchester funk of "Tokyo" with the promise of more to come.

Rebirth of Cool: "GreenCircles - The new great NE hope after Shearer"

Old Indie Kid on All Fall Down: "Musically it sounds like a long lost Smiths track - top guitars and bass here. All Fall Down is a downbeat epic that might just be the best song GreenCircles have released to date."

Robert Carlyle on Start Again: What I'd describe as the complete song from a truly accomplished band. Beautifully layered, it slowly comes at you, washes over you and envelopes you in warm waves."

Brett & Cliff's Flea Circus Podcast on Red Light Revolution: "GreenCircles are the best thing to come out of Newcastle since LCL"
