Grendel

Grendel was a band that existed in the early 2000's. The band played live shows extensively during this period and took to the studio to record 6 songs. Following this local radio station 4ZZZ recorded the band live and put together a spotlight / interview show with the band. The album above is a mix of these sessions and the studio songs recorded. The album entered the top 10 of metal charts in Australia and the band was very active. About 12 months after the bass player "Fish" departed for personal reasons and the Guitarist moved to another city, and although members kept in contact the band became inactive. In 2021 there were plans to record new music following a reunion of the 3 of the members but in early 2022, sadly Darin Page (Guitarist) passed away from an illness. "We are glad that we were able to capture Darin's solid and creative style, both live and in the studio, along with his comments and thoughts in the interview and that it is out here for the world to enjoy - RIP Darin and Grendel - See you in Valhalla" - Grendel.
