Grethe Stulien Lauen band, or GSL-band, is a norwegian country rock band from Byremo, Agder, Norway. The band was originally established in 2015, then with the band name Emission. In 2020, the group changed name to Grethe Stulien Lauen Band. The musicians have been playing together in decades. Four out of five members have collaborated in other common projects before, like the band Riders, which especially was popular in the 1990s south in Norway.
Beside their own singles, Grethe Stulien Lauen Band is mainly a cover band who plays at both rock and country festivals. «Ølveien» is Grethe Stulien Lauens first out of four singles who will be released in 2023. Members: Grethe Stulien Lauen (vocal and keys), Øystein Lauen (guitars and vocal), Sverre Flottorp (bass guitar), Frode Ro (drums) & Helene Stulien Lauen (keys).
