GRIP TIGHT is London born, Berlin based producer Benjamin Luke Gregory. Creating 'R&B' tinged electronic music, his songs have garnered airplay from BBC Radio 1 and 6 Music in the UK and have been described as "Full-blooded and soulful contemporary pop" – DIY Magazine and “Sumptuous compositions, measured but always captivating” - Gold Flake Paint.
Having self released a series of early tracks online, collaborations, remix work and tours followed with acclaimed international artists such as Ian Chang (Son Lux, Moses Sumney), Peggy Sue and Joan As Police Woman.
GRIP TIGHT relocated to Germany in 2018 to set up a studio in former East Berlin where he wrote and recorded much of the material from debut album ‘Full Future’, released in 2022 through Reveal Records. The album was praised as "A fabulous debut LP of rare consistency" - LOLA and "A great debut album...thrilling soundscapes and brilliant alternative electronic RnB" - Turtlenek.
