Grizfolk initially emerged out of Venice, CA in 2012. Threading together a patchwork of alternative, indie rock, and americana, the band carved out a distinct niche with various releases including Waking Up The Giants [2016], Rarest of Birds [2019], Grizfolk [2021], and Sign of the Times EP [2024]. In between, they incited the applause of American Songwriter, Billboard, Spin, and Substream Magazine, among others. "Be Someone" is the first single off of their upcoming 4th studio album
