An alternative outfit influenced by Tame Impala and Oasis, New York City's The Heydaze formed in 2013 around the talents of college pals Jesse Fink, Andrew Spelman, Alexander Glantz, and Tyler Matte. The self-described purveyors of "windows down/stereo up" jams began issuing infectious singles like "Little Bandit," "Arnold Palmer," and "City Girl" right away via YouTube and Soundcloud, and before long found themselves with a loyal following both at home and around the country. More singles followed in 2014, along with choice national shows, and in 2015 the band released their eponymous debut EP. ~ James Christopher Monger, Rovi
