Groovy Aardvark

Une des figures les plus emblématiques de la scène rock alternative québécoise, <a href="spotify:artist:2gX3WD1qKF9l1FsW4t1Zjf" data-name="Groovy Aardvark">Groovy Aardvark</a> a marqué les esprits pendant trois décennies. Avec la parution, en 1996, de Vacuum, qui contient les succès <a href="spotify:track:3suvu0cizxYlc4cIfDwlRY" data-name="Dérangeant">Dérangeant</a> et la reprise survoltée de <a href="spotify:track:7tAAFEonUTFv8Ww6LTcV0F" data-name="Le petit bonheur">Le petit bonheur</a> de <a href="spotify:artist:6GDqBabt6mrV2G3cMXZPKW" data-name="Felix Leclerc">Felix Leclerc</a> elle connaît une ascension fulgurante. Suivront quatre albums, dont le final, Sévices rendus, en 2005. Depuis, Groovy s’est réunit sporadiquement pour quelques concerts. En 2019, le groupe unit sa destinée avec celle de Slam Disques afin de donner vie à une myriade de nouveaux projets, notamment la sortie d’une édition vinyle double de son album <a href="spotify:album:0vqF7Bo4znPxOxwstnl9SQ" data-name="Vacuum (Remastered)">Vacuum (Remastered)</a>. <a href="spotify:artist:2gX3WD1qKF9l1FsW4t1Zjf" data-name="Groovy Aardvark">Groovy Aardvark</a> reste à ce jour l&#39;un des groupes rock les plus influents et respectés que le Québec ait connu.

One of the most emblematic figures of Quebec&#39;s alternative rock scene, <a href="spotify:artist:2gX3WD1qKF9l1FsW4t1Zjf" data-name="Groovy Aardvark">Groovy Aardvark</a> made a lasting impression for three decades. With the release in 1996 of Vacuum, which contains timeless classics like <a href="spotify:track:3suvu0cizxYlc4cIfDwlRY" data-name="Dérangeant">Dérangeant</a> and the surprising cover of <a href="spotify:track:7tAAFEonUTFv8Ww6LTcV0F" data-name="Le petit bonheur">Le petit bonheur</a> by <a href="spotify:artist:6GDqBabt6mrV2G3cMXZPKW" data-name="Felix Leclerc">Felix Leclerc</a>, the band experienced a unique success. Four albums followed, including the final compilation, Sévices rendus, in 2005. Since then, Groovy reformed sporadically for a few concerts. In 2019, the band teams up with Slam Disques in order to offer to its fans a myriad of new projects, including the release of a double LP version of <a href="spotify:album:0vqF7Bo4znPxOxwstnl9SQ" data-name="Vacuum (Remastered)">Vacuum (Remastered)</a>. <a href="spotify:artist:2gX3WD1qKF9l1FsW4t1Zjf" data-name="Groovy Aardvark">Groovy Aardvark</a> remains to this day one of the most influential and respected rock bands from Quebec.
