Jazz trumpeter by training, having learned to play the piano on his own, Guillaume Poncelet – born in 1978 – has composed songs and produced albums for <a href="spotify:artist:73BDzWqbf1grbgQ8xYn2ou" data-name="Ben Mazué">Ben Mazué</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:69irZ4R8OsrLHjr6VmMmMg" data-name="Gaël Faye">Gaël Faye</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1xbjT6BnZk2j6PZhf5VZR7" data-name="Michel Jonasz">Michel Jonasz</a> or even <a href="spotify:artist:6AE7CSJUwDMnTXV4yKVLLv" data-name="Thomas Azier">Thomas Azier</a>. Ex-member of the National Jazz Orchestra, he is regularly on tour with other artists. In 2018, he released his first solo album, “88”, followed by the EP “Haven” in 2021 and &#34;Durango&#34; in 2023. Composer for feature length movies, he is co-author of the soundtrack of “Razzia” by Nabil Ayouch and the first feature film by François Uzan, “On sourit pour la photo”, released in theaters in May 2022.

Through a deliberately minimalist, resolutely modern music, he reveals a sensibility on the edge, rooted in the heritage of great European composers such as <a href="spotify:artist:17hR0sYHpx7VYTMRfFUOmY" data-name="Maurice Ravel">Maurice Ravel</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2ANtgfhQkKpsW6EYSDqldz" data-name="Gustav Mahler">Gustav Mahler</a> or <a href="spotify:artist:69lxxQvsfAIoQbB20bEPFC" data-name="Philip Glass">Philip Glass</a>. In constant search of new sounds, he continues this solo adventure with his latest album “Durango”.
