French pianist and composer Dorothée Troubat, aka Bon Cœur, creates intimate, cinematic music in which each note captures an emotion, an image, a moment suspended in time.
Fascinated since childhood by the dialogue between music and images, she composes with a deeply synesthetic sensibility: colors, shapes, and textures become harmonies, motifs, and movements. This perception nourishes her writing and anchors it in a universe of visual poetry and delicate nuances.
Her inspiration draws as much from cinema as from literature and painting, all fields where emotion is expressed in different ways.
Born into a family of music lovers, Dorothée discovered the piano at the age of six and has never looked back. After classical training, she turned to composition, first intuitively, then by deepening her knowledge of harmony and orchestration. This dual approach has shaped a sensitive, structured, and deeply narrative style of writing.
In 2023, she released her first EP, which reveals the essence of her musical language: minimalist, sensitive, and deeply human. In 2025, a second EP continued this exploration, confirming her place among the emerging voices of neoclassical piano.
Today, Bon Cœur continues her journey between personal creations, visual collaborations, and immersive projects, always guided by the same intention: to touch, to tell stories, to illuminate the invisible through the piano.
