Gunnva is a young, female, Danish/Faroese singer and songwriter based in Aalborg, Denmark. Most recently she has reinvented herself and found her true love for folk music, sending her back to her Faroese roots. By combining the pop- and folk-genres Gunnva has found her sound, is currently working on her debut album which is set to be released later this year produced by Victor Kiowsky.
Most recent release was as lead singer on the cover tracks Kiss Me, I Love Your Smile (feat. Gunnva), Runaway (U&I) (feat. Gunnva) and The Sweet Escape (feat. Gunnva) produced by BOILERS. She also wrote the song Million Reasons produced by the dubstep duo Pegboard Nerds.
She is also founder of the selfmannaged band GUNVA, which was formed in 2019 with their hit single Dear Mountain.
