Gurn Victim originally was created in May 2023 by Tommy Sobrino. He then invited Ethan Blackwell, Ron Lew and Conrad Clare to join.

They wrote about 3 songs before deciding to get a lead guitarist to add to their sound. Woody Pearce joined as the lead guitarist but later on in April 2024 discontinued with the band.

In February 2023 Ethan Blackwell decided to leave due to certain reasons that cannot be disclosed for his privacy. This meant that they had to get a new guitarist so they got Jake Nash as he was already a very close friend with the band and was their previous roadie.

On the 1st of December Gurn Victim released their first single "Cut Skin" which reached 15 thousand streams. This was a much larger result than they were expecting. However, they ended up having to take it down and create a new spotify profile due to problems with the distribution. They then later on the 12th of July released their second single "You Want Statistics?" along with a music video recorded on Mersea Island.

They released their first ep First Degree Gurn on the 26th of July with 6 tracks. And theres more coming...
