Australia's Hamish Anderson has an old soul and a young heart full of love for the blues. Recognised by Billboard Magazine as a "singer/songwriter and guitar hero" and featured in Total Guitar's Top 10 Best New Guitarists, Anderson solidified a worldwide presence in the blues/rock scene performing opening sets with legendary artists like Gary Clark Jr, George Thorogood & The Destroyers, Stephen Stills, Doyle Bramhall II, Los Lobos and had the honour of opening for B.B. King on his final tour.
His 2016 debut Trouble and 2019 follow-up Out of My Head (which scored an Independent Music Award for “Best Blues Album”) saw Anderson team up with Grammy winning producer Jim Scott (Tom Petty, Tedeschi Trucks Band).
His busy performance schedule included appearances at renowned festivals such as BottleRock, Mountain Jam, Blues on Broadbeach, SXSW, and Telluride Blues & Brews Festival.
In 2023 & 2025, he toured the US and Australia, supporting Gary Clark Jr and George Thorogood, not only as an opening act but also as a special guest during their encores.
Recently, he released third album, “ELECTRIC” which marked his first time co-producing with Grammy nominated engineer David Davis (The War On Drugs, Miguel). Anderson affectionately refers to this latest release as a “Love Letter to the Electric Guitar”, presenting a high-energy album with a nostalgic 70’s blues rock feel, fused with contemporary sounds and innovative arrangements across 12 tracks OUT NOW.
