Handmade’s philosophy transcends the work confined to the studio: their trademark hand-crafted mentality defines their attitude and becomes “a way of life”, as defined by the band. Their honest, down-to-Earth songs pinpoint innermost feelings whilst inviting us on a laid-back, uncompromising journey that explores beauty, yearning and simplicity.

Rooted in childhood friendships, Handmade fashioned their Indie Rock groove drawing from classic acts as well as the alt-wave current. They played high school gigs and small talent shows through to national student arts festivals, and even performed underage in pubs, engaging their audiences and steadily increasing their following. Un-resigning to conformity and after their first drummer quitted the band in the middle of a gig, the current lineup of Seb Cambronero (lead vocals and rhythm guitar), Arieh Álvarez (lead guitar), Zichong Zheng (keyboards), Javier <a href="spotify:artist:4z8CDOcfrc37deDrgC7QdG" data-name="Sherab">Sherab</a> (bass) and Andrey Diaz (drums) sought the professional recording of their original material. This led to the release of their first single, “The Fire Anthem”. The road then opened up to striking new deals and enjoying more recording opportunities.

Handmade, their self-titled EP, offers a set of top-form tracks that introduce the band’s nifty guitar-based style. From “Nosara” to the nostalgic and raw-sounding “Sunday Blues”, Handmade plug us into a both exciting and personal atmosphere, setting the scene to continue growing through their musical endeavour.
