Between transcendence and aggressiveness, raw energy and melancholy, Hangmoon is a fight against the emptiness that inhabits us, a tribute to the trials overcome, and those to come.
Created in 2019 by Adam Courtinot, Hangmoon was born from a night in the vast Mexican desert, between two thorny hallucinations, under the cold and severe gaze of the Moon.
Its first EP Meztli, Aztec goddess of the moon, turns this long night marked by despair and defeat into music.
Hangmoon released on February 18, 2022 its second EP Ninkasi Kao Live Session. It tells a new story where illusions, anxieties, acceptance and letting go follow one another.
In March 2023, Hangmoon reinvents itself by proposing with Les pensées sourdent an acoustic work where the melodic and melancholic heart of its identity is fully expressed.
