Haniya Aslam is a Pakistani-Canadian musician, composer, and producer. Dubbed a “songwriter extrodinaire”, Haniya’s diverse musical influences range from Pakistani folk and Qawwali to classic rock and West African blues. Her first band Zeb and Haniya achieved international recognition with their award-winning debut album, Chup.
As a composer and producer, Haniya brings together musical styles and genres effortlessly, “blending the sophistication of jazz and blues with eastern mystical Sufi and folk.”
