Hanz On, Hip hop artist, producer, and label owner(Anthony Messado) grew up in the legendary neighborhood, Park Hill, in Staten Island. His raw lyrics vividly paint gritty tales of life in Shaolin. Hanz On’s journey in the music industry began with significant collaborations that left a mark. In 2007, he featured on Raekwon's “Ice Water - Polluted Water” album. In 2010, Hanz On unleashed his debut album, “Out of Chef’s Kitchen,” Beyond his career as an artist, Hanz On, later stepped into the role of an executive, launching his own label, Hanz On Music Entertainment, in 2012. The sophomore album “Method Man Presents: Hannibal The Great,” dropped in 2012 cementing his status as a significant presence in hip-hop. He gained notoriety for an incident with Joe Budden in 2009. In 2017, Hanz On released “Barca,” an album that further showcased his unyielding style and storytelling depth. He also took on the role of executive producer for Method Man's “Methlab” series, shaping its evolution. “Methlab 1” was released on August 21, 2015, followed by “Methlab 2” on December 14th, 2018, and “Methlab 3” on May 6, 2022. Collaborating with more Hiphop legends such as, Jadakiss, Redman, Snoop Dogg, Krs-one and N.O.R.E. Hanz On continues to carry the torch of raw unfiltered hip-hop.His journey stands as validation to the strength of character, an embodiment of resilience and a commitment to capturing the essence of Staten Island.
