Harold Chaala is one of Africa’s top Inspirational music recording artists. He is one of Zambia’s great music exports to Australia. Since the release of his chart topping debut album, ‘Universal Love’ in 2001, Harold has Established himself as a pioneer in the African contemporary Inspirational Music industry.
Taking time to minister through music, he has over the years toured extensively in the United States, Australia, Asia, Africa and Europe, performing alongside reputable acts such as International Multi-Grammy Award Winner @<a href="spotify:artist:5VX8hxrcfJWwaTLiqGUHG3" data-name="TobyMac">TobyMac</a>, Dove and Stellar nominated American Hip-hop artist Pettidee, Grammy and Stellar nominated neo-soul vocalist Cynthia Jones, Christafari, South African gospel powerhouse Joyous Celebration, Dove awards nominees Tree 63 and England’s leading worship recording artist Noel Richards. He has previously done collaborations with Jamaican award winning reggae artists Papa San, Jermaine Edwards and Osmond Collins.
He was voted Africa’s best male singer in the All-African Inspirational Awards and his youthful album "Stay with me" won the prestigious Best Youth Album Award in South Africa.
Harold was appointed ambassador for Girl Child Education in his native country Zambia and has previously toured The United States of America, Asia and Europe on a UNICEF sponsored tour to help create awareness about the plight of the girl child in Zambia, Africa.
Harold currently lives In Melbourne, Australia with his family.
