Hartt and the Gold are a Canadian-based indie rock band that takes regular jaunts to alt-country. Hat tips to The Tragically Hip mix with Grateful Dead flashbacks and REM vibes. Following the release of Out West EP (originally released in 2019 and re-released in 2023), Singer/guitarist/songwriter Hartt Goldman moved from Canada's West Coast, back East to Southwestern Ontario. With long-time friends and musical co-conspirators, a new EP titled "Back East" was recorded featuring Kevin Grant’s (The Wrestlers, Grantzig) quasi-lyrical lead guitar, Adam Fox’s (Purple Orange) hard-hitting, feely drums and Mike Dame’s locked-in and punchy bass grooves. The "Back East" EP is set to be released early 2024.
