When I was 5 years old I heard Judy Garland for the first time and I knew there and then that I had to sing and perform.
In many ways I didn't know the modern world existed until high school, I was determined to marry Gene Kelly, loved 'I Love Lucy' and had no clue who The Simpson's were!!
I spent every waking hour at my piano learning George Gershwin and writing my own songs as an outlet for all the many feelings, emotions and fears that I harboured.
I got 'lucky' young and signed with Universal Music at 15 years old. But then I lost it all, unravelled and couldn't breathe or get out of bed.
One day I woke up with a new clarity and a clear vision and went into the studio where I began to write, sing and record the songs I felt destined to create and perform.
The fact that I am here today, with you listening to these songs, is a little girl's dream come true. Thank you.
Of course it hasn't been easy, but nothing worth waiting for ever is. Singing for you is home. The stage is the place I am most at peace. I truly can't wait to see you all there in 2026.
