Kyle Cox is keeping the romance alive with his ambitious fourth full length studio album, Listen Up! - a joyful and sentimental tribute to the street jazz of New Orleans, due September 23rd, 2025. Kyle combines a persistent commitment and respect to the craft of jazz songwriting with his own unique voice sharpened by his years in the Music City community, where song remains king. This sunnier sound marks a shift in tone from his previous albums tending to evoke scenes of ducking into a New York City jazz club during the city’s colder months. Inspired after attending a performance of the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, and listening to old vinyls of Leon Redbone and Louis Armstrong, Listen Up! creates a blend that feels both nostalgic and new, reminiscent of a street band you’d stumble upon during a leisurely stroll through the French Quarter, or along the river Seine on a lively Summer afternoon.
