Created in 2020, He Oro Taiohi is a music wānanga based in Tūrangi of rangatahi who were brought together to empower, share and experience the language of music. Exposed to mentors David Wall (Sola Rosa/Tyneegiant/1814) and Caleb Haapu (L40 / Sons of Zion) and Bev Adair-Beets our rangatahi revelled in their knowledge and expertise.
Each rangatahi that have been involved has grown un ways we could never explain.
