Heart Shaped is the dreamy pop project of Belfast-based songwriter Kendall Bousquet. Originally from Houston, Texas, Bousquet has carved out a space for herself in the Irish music
scene and further afield, with front-page features on Bandcamp and radio airplay spanning the BBC to KEXP. After securing her spot as college radio darling with the release of 2022’s No
Contact, new single Felt finds Bousquet refining her style of glittering and expansive power pop interwoven with narrative introspection. Produced and recorded by Declan Legge at
Analogue Catalogue studios with support from Chordblossom, the track features fuzzy guitars and shimmering synths over a
disco-inflected backbeat which underpin a meditation on the self-deception at the heart of a tumultuous relationship.
