BluesLand Theme Park will be the 12th full length Album from Rob Robinson and his 4th as HeavyDrunk. "Big band Blues Soul" and plenty of Southern Gospel with Horns and Harmony. Vintage tones and salty humor saturate HeavyDrunk songs. Smart Lyrics and tight arrangements give way to spiritual themes that are true to southern roots. Rob has worked with Jimmy Johnson and David Hood and the recordings reflect Muscle Shoals, Memphis, and New Orleans sensibility. The HeavyDrunk name is derived from a Gatemouth Brown quip about none other than Stevie Ray Vaughn. "It's a terrible name" says Rob, "I'm sure that's why I chose it".
