Heem,is an American rapper who specializes in gangster rap music. With over three-thousand followers and subscribers on Instagram, his content attracts views by the masses,as followers become enthusiastic fans. Heem has collaborated and performed with Benny the Butcher, Ricky Hyde, and DJ Shay of B.S.F (Black Soprano Family). He has released two singles, ‘Pride’ and ‘Sometimes’. Heem has masterfully depicted inner-city struggles since 2002when he began writing lyrics at his father’s dining room table.Growing up on the east side of Buffalo, New York, which was notorious for drug dealing and violence,Heem was influenced by the streets and his father’s, Raheem“Big Heem’ Trotter Sr, gangster lifestyle. It was this lifestyle that became the catalyst to ignite his passion, gangster rap. BornApril 20, 1993, rapper Heemis the oldest of sixsiblings. He attended Buffalo public school #31 Harriet Ross Tubman, and went on to attend BurgardV ocational High school. He spent most of his adolescent years at his grandmother’s house on Warring Avenue, only a few blocks from where Benny the Butcher grew up. With such proximity, it’s no wonder Heem and the Butcher’s artistries have created such a dynamic force in the rap game. In 2017, Heem performed at the ‘Butcher on Steroids’ tour. He also recently opened for Griselda Records‘WWCD’ tour in February2020.
