A member of <a href="spotify:artist:5XFkCzmSOiU2Mh13XxbrcD">the Infamous Mobb</a> and a longtime associate of <a href="spotify:artist:6O2zJ0tId7g07yzHtX0yap">Mobb Deep</a>, Big Twins (aka Twin Gambino) was born and raised in N.Y.C.'s Queensbridge Projects. He first appeared on Mobb Deep's 1996 album Hell on Earth on the track “Animal Instinct.” In 2002 he kicked off his career as an <a href="spotify:artist:5XFkCzmSOiU2Mh13XxbrcD">Infamous Mobb</a> member with the Special Edition album; then he appeared as a solo artist on the Fat Beats, Vol. 2 compilation, which put him in the company of underground artists <a href="spotify:artist:1GAS0rb4L8VTPvizAx2O9J">Atmosphere</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6PTaHj7ZsfKf0EUENQayRi">J-Zone</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:1rJkz5vopfGxTUGFNB3o4G">Quasimoto</a>. The year 2002 saw him joining <a href="spotify:artist:6O2zJ0tId7g07yzHtX0yap">Mobb</a> producer <a href="spotify:artist:0eVyjRhzZKke2KFYTcDkeu">the Alchemist</a> for a feature on <a href="spotify:artist:1020a42xVklY6c56imNcaa">Slum Village</a>'s Dirty District mixtape. In 2004 he appeared on <a href="spotify:artist:0eVyjRhzZKke2KFYTcDkeu">Alchemist</a>'s 1st Infantry and acted as official MC for the album-supporting tour that followed. The duo would also land on the 2005 release Another Sound Mission from <a href="spotify:artist:56OMwqr8qaLIRH4ZrvvdXq">Dilated Peoples</a>' <a href="spotify:artist:6VfeYClQyVUCPJdXb9jl3O">Evidence</a>. Next, Big Twins would guest on <a href="spotify:artist:30G8Jlp6mw5RTEEzMndIZL">Big Shug</a>'s 2007 effort, Streetchamp, and then <a href="spotify:artist:1GwxXgEc6oxCKQ5wykWXFs">Prodigy</a>'s 2008 album, H.N.I.C., Pt. 2. <a href="spotify:artist:0eVyjRhzZKke2KFYTcDkeu">Alchemist</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6VfeYClQyVUCPJdXb9jl3O">Evidence</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1GwxXgEc6oxCKQ5wykWXFs">Prodigy</a>, and his <a href="spotify:artist:6O2zJ0tId7g07yzHtX0yap">Mobb Deep</a> partner <a href="spotify:artist:6UnvX7Zx85VNjOpLdaq49W">Havoc</a>, plus producer Sid Roams would all contribute to Big Twins' 2008 mixtape, The Grimey Collection. ~ David Jeffries, Rovi
