Ethan “Hefty Lefty” Myers was heavily influenced by the
popularity of hip hop in Fayetteville “The Ville” North
Carolina, where he spent 3 years as a younger teen. After
completion of his college degree in Lincoln, Nebraska, he
relocated back to his original birthplace, Denver, Colorado. In
the summer of 2012, he linked up with Darnell “Yung Face” Thomas
through a mutual contact. Together, they formed Yung Face
Entertainment (YFE). For the past 5 years Yung Face has mentored
Hefty into becoming the raw, dynamic emcee he is today. Hefty is
currently working on several collaborative and solo projects. He
looks to become the next big name out of Denver, and credits his
east coast influences for giving him the passion to properly
represent the culture of hip hop.
