Heidi is an Oakland-based songwriter who composes songs with a keyboard on her living room floor.
Heidi grew up in a musical family: her parents met at a music school in Savonlinna, Finland, and her dad was a Finnish rockstar for a hot second in the ‘80s. As a child, Heidi took classical violin lessons and sang in her school choir. On the weekends, she was a groupie for her dad’s band, falling asleep onstage under the drum set when gigs ran late into the night.
Despite this early exposure to music – or perhaps because of it – Heidi has actively refused to pursue a career in music (until now).
