Since their formation in Copenhagen in late 2021, Heksproces have explored the sound of apocalypse from a distant swamp at the edge of civilization. Drawing on post-metal, the sound is heavy and aggressive, but it also incorporates sensitive and melodic elements in the often lengthy, organic compositions.

Even though Heksproces is a new band, its roots reach back to 2011 in a damp basement beneath a school on the Danish island of Bornholm. Here a group of teenage boys came together, developing a lifelong passion for crushing guitar riffs and odd time signatures. A decade and many hours in the practice room later, their love for metal is intact, and now the four witch doctors are ready to cast dark spells over the Danish underground.
