Born in Romania, Helen graduated at the jazz conservatories of Bucharest (RO) and Groningen (NL). She quickly built a name for herself as a songwriter and singer for acts worldwide.
"I always felt like writing for other artists is an opportunity for me to discover new universes. The thing I love the most about writing sessions is that I get to experiment with different genres and styles that I love and get to know artists at their core. That has an impact on me as well, providing a new perspective on my music."
Various appearances on Belgian TV and radio stations, an opening slot for FKJ, and a solo show at Eurosonic 2019 have already established Helen as one of the most exciting new pop artists from mainland Europe. Previous support comes from the likes of Complex, The Line Of Best Fit, Clash, Harper’s Bazaar and VICE.
