Formed in 2016 was the beginning of the Hellpriest journey when formed by high school friends lead guitarist, KingovtheUndead and vocalist, Diabolus. The band during this time would play and make music at the local scene before having a falling out with the other musicians of their band. Being revived in 2023 came the arrival of childhood friend to KingovtheUndead, Lord Dclxvi to take the position of rhythm guitarist and Sykdom for the bass guitar. With the four members came the arrival of their official first ep release "SERMON" released in 2024 which can be described as having the spirit of raw old school black metal
After sermon released came the arrival of their now drummer, morbid along with another vocalist, nekkro. With the arrival of the two came the finished hellpriest line up. Now the six have Conjoined their dark musical inspirations to present the creation of there 2024 single "Banishment"
Their sound is one that combines the aggression of old school black metal while creating trance like occult chanting.
