When the pandemic took away Henning Andersen’s day job, he turned to songwriting and music production. Five years later, he’s released two albums of fresh alternative country and modern Americana – with more on the way.
Henning doesn’t follow a formula when writing songs. He draws from a wide range of genres and artists, always chasing progress – something he hopes comes through in the music. His creative process is wide open, often shaped in collaboration with some of Norway’s most exciting musicians, with Marius Lien as a key musical partner.
Live, Henning Andersen & his band deliver something truly special. Fans describe their shows as a wild mix of Grateful Dead, The Band, and Daniel Donato.
For an independent artist, Henning’s gotten a surprising amount of radio love. He’s had three tracks on rotation at NRK P1 Østfold, and several more spinning on Radio Rox. His music has also reached listeners in the US, Brazil, and Italy – proof that great songwriting and a killer sound travel far.
This fall, Henning is dropping new singles, a full album, hitting festivals, and aiming for even more radio waves.
