Hailing from England but based in Glasgow for the last 15 years, Hex is a lifelong music fan with a strong passion for Drum & Bass and a deep knowledge of the genre’s many styles and facets. Busy in the studio since 2012, Hex’s original productions have found widespread support in the underground scene, with releases on Beat Spectrum, Detached Audio, Black Tuna, Celsius, Free Love Digi and more. With an appreciation for all sounds and vibes, his productions vary from minimal rollers to jungle smashers, dark tech to melodic liquid and more. Expect the full 360 D&B sound both in the studio and the DJ booth.

Often found warming up the crowd and testing new cuts at his residency at Glasgow's longest running Drum & Bass night, Symbiosis, Hex has also graced the decks at License to Jungle, Central Beatz, Electrikal, Jungle Nation, Rarewave and Liquid Funktion, as well as appearances at locations around Scotland’s busy summer festival season.

Hex also runs a blog on all things drum & bass over at www.dnbdojo.co.uk. Featuring reviews, premieres, guest mixes and a monthly podcast mixed by the man himself, DNB Dojo has established itself as one of the prominent sources of underground 170BPM music since its inception just over five years ago.
