Hiawatha Telephone Company was named after a t-shirt, and a company that still exists which kind of makes the commercial viability of the name rather unlikely. 13 songs were released in 2009 as the album 'Harry Smith was my Father', recorded in one-take on a single day at in Brighton. A second collection of songs ‘Passengers Greatest Hits’ followed in 2014, recorded over a weekend. There is also an EP of covers of Tim Hardin songs. All are available to listen or download for free via bandcamp at http://hiawathatelephone.bandcamp.com
