Started playing together in 2018 Hinterstate are a fresh indie folk band based in Germany. Current members are long-term friends Botond Hunka (vocal, guitars), Gergely Ferenczy (bass guitar), and Barnabas Petik (keyboards).
Since then they have opened live for the likes of <a href="spotify:artist:6jn7W8NuX94FWZyeGlyCaJ" data-name="Axel Flóvent">Axel Flóvent</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3IHVWSn2opK0UJkgKwtaXm" data-name="Jonas David">Jonas David</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:6oSMp7UrBy9GFtLR5xSXn6" data-name="Wolf & Moon">Wolf & Moon</a>.
With Hunka's warm, soothing voice in the foreground their approach focuses on the purity and intelligibility of the melody. Their sound is largely inspired by other current Indie artists, as well as Pop, Americana, and Country.
