Their first release in February 2020 was Embers Into Fires, featuring the rare vocal talent VILLFORTH.

Next up is Diving For Gold which came into being as a happy accident when Charlie and Jonathan met up with New Zealander Chester Travis to write songs for another artist. An insistent guitar line and images of shipwrecks and lost causes had the three feeling like something special was taking shape before their eyes, and any thought of passing the song on to anyone else to perform quickly dissolved.

Diving For Gold is the first joint release between Spirit Animal Kollektiv and Chester Travis, it's also Chester’s first release since winning the APRA music award for best country song with “Toothache” in 2017.

Written in a small room in the Berlin summer, and completed transatlantically in isolation during lockdown, Diving For Gold was released digitally on November 27th, 2020.
