Holdin’ is the indie surf rock project of Holden Cohen-Wanis a California-raised, Montreal-based artist. Joined by Noah Cohen-Wanis (drums), and Jonah Brender (bass). Rooted in the looseness of skate culture and the intimacy of late-night existential questions, Holdin’ blends warm, vintage tones with the honesty of indie songwriting and the grit of a garage band. The result is a sound that feels both spontaneous and intentional, nostalgic, alive, and quietly searching.

Drawing from influences like Mac DeMarco, Khruangbin, Her’s, and The Strokes, Holden writes with a kind of vulnerable clarity...dark at times, sometimes playful but always sincere.
