Homay Schmitz is a composer, arranger, and producer, known for her versatile work across video games, film, and television. Most recently, she composed the original score for video game LEGO® Horizon Adventures™, recorded at AIR Studios.
Her other recent projects include composing for Apple's Memories feature, where she created multiple standalone tracks and arranging music for a 43-piece orchestra, recorded and filmed at Abbey Road Studios for the BBC One documentary Krept and Konan: We Are England. In 2021, she composed the score for the short film Mincemeat, featured in Channel 4's On the Edge series.
Homay also contributed additional music to Netflix's movie T.I.M and the documentary Dettori, cementing her reputation as a composer that spans both film and television.
For over a decade, Homay worked with Spitfire Audio, a leading British sample library company, where she composed bespoke trailer music, and hundreds of original pieces, and created compositional breakdown tutorials that were viewed by thousands globally.
In 2024, Homay arranged strings for Jordan Rakei's album The Loop, recorded at RAK Studios with Her Ensemble. Later that year, she reworked the arrangements for an orchestral performance at the 2024 BBC Proms. She also worked on Rakei's earlier album, What We Call Life, where she composed string parts for the song 'Brace' and arranged a live version performed by Her Ensemble and his band, filmed at The Church Studios.
