Martin Höper was born in 1978. His musical career started in Kalmar, Sweden, playing electric bass with various rock groups. After switching to the upright bass in high school and studying jazz music he ended up at the royal conservatory of music in Stockholm. There he studied with some of the most prominent bass players in Sweden including Palle Danielsson. Pretty soon he began his freelance career playing with groups like Fredrik Norén Band, Rigmor Gustafsson, Gustav Lundgren Quartet, Last Days Of April, and with electrojazz group KOOP he’s toured Asia, North America, and Europe many times. Currently playing with City Nights, Thus: Owls, Rigmor Gustafsson, Peter Jöback, Claes Janson, Platina Jazz, Carl Bagge Trio, and many others.
Gustav Lundgren is one of Sweden's most prominent jazz guitarists right now. He was born in Stockholm in 1980, started to play guitar at age 12. He studied music in Stockholm, Bollnäs, and Svalöv between 1996-2000. Gustav started to play at clubs around Stockholm at age 16 and made his first tour to Spain with his own trio at age 19. Gustav has toured 26 countries including Japan, the USA & Brazil with different jazz groups. He has recorded over 65 albums as a sideman and 25 as a leader. Gustav Lundgren has been working with names like Jimmy Rosenberg, Chris Cheek, Jorge Rossy, Doug Weiss, Antoine Boyer, Bill McHenry, Samson Schmitt, The Swedish House Mafia, Kleerup, Petra Marklund, Miriam Bryant, AronChupa & Anne Sofie von Otter.
