The music is mostly self-composed. The styles are many and the instruments he masters as well. Martin has a penchant for melancholy stanzas and an occasional musical complexity, but it is still the simple melodies that lift up the compositions.
After a couple of years spent making some groovy pop, soul and funky rock music Martin is now making jazz recordings again. He has found a hole new sound in his music. The warm acoustic sound in combination with the intimate recordings leaves the listener deep inside the compositions.
Martin grew up in a small village in Sweden. When he was 9 years old his father bought a drum set, Martin started playing drums and ever since that day he has been all sold to playing music. As the years went by he learned to play more and more instruments and grew up to become a skilled musician. Martin studied music at Gothenburg university. He has released several jazz records with his own music. Now days you will hear a more groovy rock/pop/blues/soul side of him. The records are mostly self produced and he often plays all instruments himself.
