Horizon Tide is a alternative metal band from the Amsterdam/ Utrecht region, the Netherlands.
Inspired by a wide range of rock, metal and stoner bands, Horizon Tide has their own off beat blend of elements.
Their music takes you from engulfing layers of guitar effects, to beating riffs, followed by intricate time signatures.
The first EP, Disembark - Disconnect, was released in 2016. With that, a new energetic liveshow was also born. Horizon Tide brings headbanging riffs and a lot of energy to every stage they play. In 2018 the band was part of the Dutch Metal Battle competition and things were looking bright. However, the band had a fair share of bad luck; the drummer broke a wrist and elbow, band members came and left, Corona came and (sort of) left. Nevertheless they just relentlessly keep on going.
In the summer of 2022 the band released two new tracks, Disappear and Rivalry. With the arrival of a new bassist in 2023 new songs were written which resulted in the 4 song EP 'Everything is Fine' in August 2025.
